1,2 acres2 of Modern Camping Site
It all started with a couple of small tents and an old "out house". The primitive start for more than 50 years ago in the big gardens of "Færgegården" has today turned into a modern camping site with all the comfort you may require from a three-stars camping site.
  
The pitches
The "Færgegårdens Camping" has 200 authorized units - most of theese with electrical hook-up. The units for touring caravans and motor homes are at least 100 m2.
The tent pitch is numbered so that you can be sure to have sufficient space.
 
The old "Færgegården" in the centre of the big gardens. The "Færgegården" once was a Royal Licensed Inn, later on a "dry house hotel", then a boarding house, and then again an inn - now it is a modern camping site 
 
 
Sanitary and Service Blocks 
We have a newer service block where you'll find showers and toilets as well as the popular family bathrooms.
Furthermore you'll find a kitchen and a combined TV- and sitting room. The hole serviceblock has heatede floors.
Our original serviceblock has been renovated along the way and here you'll find three family bathrooms and a nursing room for babies.  The sanitary block is of high quality - and has heated floors!
 
At easter we'll open our spacy welcome area placed at the entrance of the campsite. Here you will also be able to by icecreams, fastfood and cold drinks.
In addition we have a coin-operated laundrette and we have facilities for the angler for cleaning and freezing the fresh caught fish. Or if you fancy freshly smoked fish you can have it smoked on site.
